Now I think this one is a little bit tricky to understand without an explanation. Basically the Velociraptor tries to turn a Pinacosaurus into a catapult.
Since this takes place 75 million years ago he canīt just get some Acme products which will obviously fail, but has to set up several things. First he needs to lure a Pinacosaurus with some nice large ferns (donīt ask me how he got these in the middle of a desert!) near a large rock and tie its clubbed tail to the rock (donīt ask me how he got a rope-like liana in the middle of a desert, either!). This is obviously inaccurate as Ankylosaurid tails arenīt very bendy vertically, but itīs a comic. And I totally screwed up the tied-up tail, everything is wrapped around the club and could easily slide down unlike when itīs wrapped around the thinner tail. The liana isnīt even stretched tight.
But anyway, before the raptor can wait for the bird to pass by the Pinacosaurus has finished its meal and is annoyed about being enchained to a rock, so it sets off its catapult itself.
